Here at Mountain West Forensics we have the highest standards of professionalism. We will arrive on time to appointments and will always conduct ourselves in a professional manner. When conflicts arise, we will always notify the individual with whom we made the appointment. We will hold to any commitments we make with clients, insureds, or owners. We understand that we not only represent Mountain West Forensics, but we also represent you.

 

Responsive.

Your time matters. We make it our goal to personally respond to emails and to answer phone calls. We make it our priority to return any missed phone calls and respond to all emails within one business day. On the occasion that we are out of the office for an extended period of time we will respond to all inquiries within one business day of our return.

 

Honest.

We believe in finding and reporting the truth at each assignment. It is important to us to be clear and straight forward. It is our duty to be nonbiased and factual. We will not let outside pressures change our opinion or dissuade us from reporting what is correct.

 

Prompt.

Each assignment is important to us.  We strive to visit the site of all assignments within one week of receiving the assignment. We will generate a report or design within two weeks of the site visit. On the occasion that we are out of the office for an extended period of time we will keep you apprised of the status of the assignment and generate a report or design promptly when we return.

Ryan has worked in the forensic engineering industry since 2016, performing hundreds of evaluations in multiple states. He attended college at the University of Utah graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. Ryan currently resides in Utah and is licensed and able to take assignments in Utah, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, and Nevada. He has completed a wide variety of assignments resulting from storm damage, foundation settlement, water intrusion, construction vibration, flood damage, and earthquake related damage. Ryan has significant experience examining the structural components of both residential dwellings and commercial buildings for damages from fires, car impacts, and explosions and providing construction documents for repairs. He has eight years of previous experience in design and drafting where he primarily designed the structural components for new commercial construction projects. He is familiar with how structures are built, the construction process, and the building codes.

Ryan is experienced, hardworking, responsive, and willing to help meet the demands of his clients.

Candace Mikesell

Office Manager

Candace is the heart of the business.  She has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Weber State University.  As the office manager Candace will be setting up assignments, generating invoices, and will be the main point of contact. As a former Elementary School educator, she knows the importance of good communication, organization, and good work ethics. Candace also has experience working in the property management field. 

 

Candace is a friendly and positive person.  It is important to her to meet the needs of our clients.
